Love is known to be a very fleeting feeling. We all experience love at some point in our lives, and yet we fail to recognize it. And we always ask what exactly is love???
Many movies, songs, poems, and books write about love. It comes, they say, in many forms; or when you least expect it. Love they say comes from within, love comes from others’ love too, they say. Love is the beauty of life, the origin of all joys, victory over all stories, the greatest strength, and also the greatest weakness, they say.
But love is just an emotion. A very beautiful, natural, and innocent emotion. Love is not a burden but freedom. Love makes you whole. Love makes you alive. Love is the weakest of all emotions. Love is never felt as itself. It needs other emotions to survive, it makes you happy. It makes you sad and angry, anxious and confident, fearful and brave all at once. Love comes out as care, affection, lust or even rage, disdain, sorrow.
Love is what binds us all together. We love our parents, siblings, relatives, friends, our spouses, children, our crushes, even our pets. It comes in all forms and from everywhere. We get hurt in love. We may hurt others in love. We fight for our love and sometimes, we even let go of our love. We will die for our love and we will kill for our love. We will cross mountains and swim oceans for our love. We will go to the world’s ends for our love. And we will create peace for our love and we will wage wars for our love. Love makes us human.
Love gives us purpose. A reason to get out of bed every morning, a reason to live, a reason to laugh, to sing, to dance. Love for ourselves gives us hope for happiness, for a better future, for prosperity, for satisfaction. Love makes us believe in ourselves and push through life. Love is the best emotion of all.
So go out there, live your lives with love and love will find you. For everything is fair in LOVE.
